Just a few words from our Director:

Thank you for visiting our website, you will have noticed we have made some big changes. Since 2002 each and every year we have raised the bar with our camps working to meet the vision of our co-founder and director of education Brian King as well as our students. In 2004 we started planning this year’s summer camp and each year we added a chunk of what was needed to make this camp happen. This year we made a big step and moved our programs and our lives to Oregon. This summer with our 4 week camp the students will be applying their skills of horsemanship and woodsmenship into the eastern Cascades Mountains.

Thank you

Brian King Education Director WSI

"My brother and I have been coming to their camps since we were little. They have all been great, we never know what to expect, each one is always better than the one before."

"Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better."
—Albert Einstein
"Nature is a profoundly deep part of us. Our species has spent 99.9% of the past 200,000 years thriving in nature, building shelter, making clothing, making fire, finding drinking water, tracking and harvesting food. For our species survival we had to be deeply connected to nature."
